The Caught Short Film Festival screens on the first Thursday of each month at the TAP Gallery, Darlinghurst.
Caught Short is not a competition! It is a supportive space where film makers can screen their work and be involved in valuable discussion with an audience and other filmmakers. The Caught Short screenings are intimate and inclusive. The TAP Gallery is a community arts space and provides the perfect place for film makers to become accustomed to public screenings, whilst providing the opportunity to network with other artists, filmmakers, actors, festival organisers and many more.

A few weekends ago I went to the SCA Degree Show. The standard was extremely high and rivalled many of the better galleries in the city. The sculpture section proved most interesting and the glasswork was immaculate. Coming soon is the National Art School Gallery event.
Their Degree Show 07 will showcase the work of the 100 students who anticipate graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Art in 2008 from the disciplines of ceramics, painting, photography, printmaking and sculpture. It will be held in Forbes Street, Darlinghurst from the 1st – 11th December. Worth a view but it will have to work hard to beat the SCA. 3D Glasses essential.
